I'm with Frodo, but note... There's even a newer (supposedly better) version just launched by Gorilla, called the X2 series. They can be found in the "New Products" section of their web site, as well as being purchased on Amazon. I think I'm going with these.

Born and raised outside of Chicago. Went to college in MSP, started a business there. Then moved out to Seattle, will never move back to the midwest. I've had my share of -70 winters... Snow is 30 minutes from me and there are actually mountains to enjoy it on!
I bought these but have not put them on yet. Had them on a prior car. Each lug needs the key to remove. Will it stop them, no, but it may slow them down a bit. Some who have used them said they can rust. Mine is a summer only so never had a problem, but if in year round climate they can rust a little toward the back.
It won't stop them, but getting 20 locks off will definitely slow them down and hopefully you or someone would see this happening and call police, that is if I don't put a few 9mm slugs in them first !
being a bit OCD, I bought a set of these, liked the look of them so much I bought another 4 sets so I have them on every wheel stud. I have a keen sence of seeing things that are non-symetrical and have to compensate fot it.
I wanted some anti-theft protection and ended up with a vety good looking set of wheel lugs.
yep.....overkill but the results look great and like none other.
The theft pro may win, but he's gunna earn it.
Does that mean you have to use 5 different keys to remove all 5 lugs from each wheel?

Moved with parents to Elmwood Park for high school. We played Hinsdale in high school football. Got my 1962 Vette new from Nickey Chevrolet on Northwest Hwy in Chicago.
[QUOTE=meyerweb;1590309701]The optional GM ones are rebranded McGard locks. McGard part # 24137 is Chrome and Part 24026 is Black. You can get them online for about half of what GM wants for them.[/QUOTE
Are there standard wheel locks? My 2016 came with GM wheel locks but no McGard labeling and no mention of them on sticker. Although they are silver and wheels are black painted.
C7Jake I love your wheels. Extremely nice. I don't care for the red lugs but it isn't that bad IMHO only. How about the center caps? Are they available? I'd like to get some. Bob
I'm still blown away by how many people use the "it won't stop a professional thief" mentality. I don't care if workaround is posted all over the internet or not. So are videos on how to pick a lock with a bump key. So, since it's so easy to break in a house why don't you go remove your door locks. Or better yet, just leave your home unlocked since you'll just **** off a professional thief trying to get into your home. This is such ridiculous way of thinking. Believe it or not, the majority of thieves are not professionals, but rather dumb crooks of opportunity. The idea is to make your wheels more of a hassle to remove then what they want to deal with. This probably covers 80% (admittedly not a actual stat) of your basic opportunistic thieves out there. While we're at it, lets have our wives leave their purses in plain view when not in the car as it will just **** off a professional thief when he has to rummage through the vehicle looking for it. Probably should also leave the keyfob in the car so a professional hacker with doesn't have to bother with decoding the signal to open your door.
Looks like a simple question from the OP started a pissing match for those who "favor" the wheel locks and those who "oppose".
So many of the posts are just crazy and are all opinions with very little fact or evidence reference the comments being made.
If a C7 owner wants to spend the money to buy the wheel locks then so be it. There is no reason to **** on their parade.
If you don't want to use the wheel locks simply don't buy them.
So many of these threads on this forum are taken to extremes when it is not necessary.
Many CF members have tried to provide information that is helpful to others and that is what this forum should be for.
No need to harp on the negatives of thieves or whatever, we all know there are "buttwipes" out there that like to steal stuff, so any points are well taken. No need to beat a dead horse over and over again.

Not standard, but dealer installed wheel locks were an accessory for the 2015 Stingray. They were the same as the McGard ones I mentioned. You could order them with the car, or later from the dealer. Interestingly, they don't seem to list them for the 2016. If you bought the car new, the paperwork from the dealer should have included registration instructions for the locks and a form to order another key, if desired.
Well if you just have a simple set of locks it's better than nothing. And as far as stopping a pro....they just steal the whole car. I only want to make the jerk work for them.

Just to share some insight, You can order 5 sets of lug locks keyed alike. You also end up with 5 keys to loose instead of one. As I stated earlier.....I like the look of all 5 of them looking the same. One pic should do it.
