I use Gorilla Locks on the C7 and moved them from the C6. If you buy them spend the $10.50 and get a second socket that fits the nuts. gorilla-auto.com do not know if forum vendor so cannot post URL.

The optional GM ones are rebranded McGard locks. McGard part # 24137 is Chrome and Part 24026 is Black. You can get them online for about half of what GM wants for them.

Save your money. Those are a complete joke. With the correct damaged-bolt remover they pop off as easily as an ordinary lug nut. Absolutely Positively Worthless. Any self-respecting professional wheel thief will already have the proper tools in his kit.

....but since most thieves aren't professionals, this will still stop the majority of them. Same applies to locks on your house, alarm systems, etc.

Yup, they can be broke easily, they might stop a meth kid, but not a pro. But i buy them to get diff colors and finishes, instead of the boring chrome lug. Mine are gunmetal color:
Nothing. A pro will get the wheel locks off in no time a thug will get pissed and do other damage to your car. Save your money and do not worry about it.

That's about the size of it. All you can hope for is that they set it on blocks instead of the brake rotors.
Warned about what? That a professional can defeat my locks? A professional can steal the entire car. Locks of most any kind are meant to defer the casual thief. But, thanks for the warning.
I bought these but have not put them on yet. Had them on a prior car. Each lug needs the key to remove. Will it stop them, no, but it may slow them down a bit. Some who have used them said they can rust. Mine is a summer only so never had a problem, but if in year round climate they can rust a little toward the back.
I worry far more about the whole car being taken. Just dont leave your car where this can happen. The locks themselves don't even slow down a real parts thief. They only get in the way for you. I don't even bother with the wheel locks any more, they are next to useless for prevention.

Mine show some corrosion where the socket hits the lug but the part that shows looks good. In Fl where it is summer year round.
