First Corvette
As for the carbon flash badge package, you are in luck! I ordered mine after I received the car as well, and they were fairly easy to replace. You can order the whole kit of badges, or individual badges, if you just want the Stingray's, just do a search on ebay. I ordered the whole kit through Suburban Chevrolet (Trunk Monkey Store) off ebay, and they got to me quickly.

Congrats!
PS: If you want assistance with replacing them, I have it down to a science, and would happy to share info, or even assist when I am in the Bay Area. Just PM me if interested.

Just out of curiosity, (and if you don't mind me asking) what part of CA are you in?
Reason I ask is I live in San Diego and also have a 2016 C7 on order... it looks like you got yours in 13 days from the factory after it was built, which is quite quick for a car coming out west on rail.
Congrats again!
Your story is similar to mine. I too yearned for a Vette since I was a kid. In 2006 my wife and I were finally in a position where we could afford one and we bought our first Vette - a silver C6 coupe. When I saw the C7 I knew I had to upgrade and did so earlier this year - a 2015 silver coupe.
When the C6 came out they ran a commercial titled "A boys dream" (although it only ran for a short time because some people thought it encouraged under age driving - give me a break). You can still view it on You tube (video posted below). That commercial inspired my license plate - although I recently updated it to the vintage plate to better match the black fascia of the C7. Maybe a "Girls Dream" plate is in order.

We had talked about eventually buying a Corvette and thought that that would happen only after the kids moved out (which is still 10 years away). But after the latest rental we talked about it some more and agreed that since we could afford it, we should go for it now. So we did it.
In October we ordered a yellow C7 convertible 2LT with black racing stripes, black wheels, black seats and top, and the performance exhaust. The dealer told us to expect to wait until the end of January for delivery. But the progress went a bit faster than expected.
Oct 30: Ordered
Dec 7: TPW
Dec 8: Built
Dec 13: Shipped
But we live in California, so I had no real idea how long it would take to get it, especially over the holiday. So imagine our surprise when on Saturday, Dec 26 we get a call from the dealer saying that the car was in! He wouldn't have it ready to take home until Monday, but we could come look at it and go through the paperwork. So of course we went right in. We finished the paperwork and went to see it, and it was perfect. Then the salesman proceeded to tell us that the shop had finished up all of their work already and that we would be taking the car home that day!! Talk about excited.
Anyway, we brought the car home, surprised the kids, and have been pinching ourselves for the last two days not believing that this was real. But every time I go out to the garage, amazingly it's still there.
I've mostly been lurking here on this forum trying to absorb everything I can about the car and the special bond that all of you other owners have. It feels nice to have such a supportive group who share a love of this beautiful vehicle. I hope to learn more from you all over time. And I hope that maybe our story will encourage even one more person to take the plunge and join the club too. Thank you all.

Whereabouts are you in CA?
