Pandora and bluetooth have nothing to do with Android Auto.
Correct, but he stated that yes he uses his Android for Pandora see his post above. My dealer is looking into this. How the hell does the dealer have no idea about this?

Thats common among all stealerships. Their main goal is to make money, not to fix our cars.
I work at a dealership (Finance) and GM doesn't exactly tell the service department hey the Android Auto updates are ready now, it just kind of is ready when it is. Most of the time they find out when someone asks for it. They have already done a couple of vehicles. About an hour or so to update.
Of course we all know since we are waiting on it and wait for the announcement. That being said mine will be done tomorrow unless my Z is on the rack getting the flex plate fixed.
Got my 16Z updated yesterday. But my archaic Motorola Droid Razor Max is not running Lollypop (5.0 or higher), therefore I can't run the Android Auto app on it.
Hopefully the phone will get updated to Lollypop someday.
BTW, after install of AA you will have to pair your phone again. Car won't let you pair while moving, so do it before you leave dealership.
Went to a different dealership this morning. And no surprise to me, they hadn't heard of this update. I showed them the press release and they did at least look it up. Apparently the tech bulletin stats I will be sent a coupon from GM. Until then they won't go any further. Chevrolet service departments are painful, I think I'd rather go to the DMV.

Was it relatively quick to update? I thought i read somewhere that is would take about 30 minutes. I am picking up my new car either Tuesday or Wednesday, and am hoping the dealer can update it so I can avoid a trip back to get it done.
