Where is meyerweb? I love that guy, he's a human Wikipedia.

Where is c7jake? He keeps it real, post pictures, and though gruff, I noticed that he constantly helped others. I respect his brutal honesty. I was thinking of sending him nude pics of myself and asking where I could improve.

Theta?

Managerman?

Even glen e.

I love this forum for the rancor and all of the humor. Stingray forums is awfully stifling and, well, pretty old group of back slapping buddies monopolize most threads there. This forum is like the real life and you gotta be thick skinned.

There just hasn't been a thing to talk about for months outside of the new GS in my opinion.

Glen E is all over the Camaro6 forum, he traded in his C7 for a new gen6 Camaro.

While I haven't been here as long as some, I have noticed a change in the tone of C7 Gen. I've been thanked nearly 500 times in C7 Gen, so have apparently added some value to some threads, but I will admit to posting the occasional comment about reading the Owner's Manual or <gasp> posting the dead horse smiley.

For several reasons that I won't go into, this will be my last post in C7 Gen at least for a while, if not a long while. I love my C7 and will still lurk here and post in other parts of the forum, but won't be posting in the C7 forums any longer.

I have been here since 2009. I posted a lot originally, but over time, I comment only a few times a week. I enjoy the forum, see a lot of the same names, and typically, I visit daily.

I joined this forum earlier this year after purchasing my first brand new 2016 Z06 for information. I've always been into 60's muscle cars and still am. All Fords by the way

I have noticed this section appears much more friendly than the Z06 section. In the Z06 section if you appear to be what they call a "waxer" your looked down upon. I didn't buy this car to track, just a weekend cruiser and an occasional wax job

I spend most of my time over here reading as I enjoy what people have to say. One thing I haven't been able to figure out....what's this thanking people in a post. I've been thanked a couple times and have no idea what it means.

Post whatever the heck you want to post about your C7-that is what a forum is about. If one does not like certain type posts, just don't click on them. Pretty simple to me-why the need to define what type posts should or should not appear?

Same here; I have enjoyed the wealth of information gathered on this forum; it's been helpful to obtain info that is normally not distributed by dealers. It's always great to be informed of potential problems with the C7 and to be aware of and recognize the problems when they occur. Thanks to all the Forum members for their invaluable contribution. Many of you have helped solve some of our concerns.

I've been on this forum as a member for 7 plus years and I can say there is no better forum for corvettes. Yes there is or was lots of griping or whining but I just delete those people that are constantly criticizing others. There is enough negativity in the world, this should be a place of friendship and a place where we can all seek help if necessary!

Thanks Corvette Forum!

I've been on the forum for 15 years and yes, there have been members that come and go - just like any other thing in life. Sometimes they find other interests, sell their car, etc. Or it could be they just have other things happen in their life (family or work) that keeps them from posting much anymore. Still if you take a look at the number of 10 and 15 year members here, I'd say the retention rate is pretty good.

You should have seen C7 general when it first opened and the C7 Stingray had yet to be unveiled by GM. Jalopnik renerings, tail lights, the C6 is now outdated...utter chaos.

C7 general is pretty clean these days

Well I have been on the forum for a while ( since 05 ), and without a doubt have learned a lot from it. As I change cars I changed the areas I post in. I have helped out others alone the way, fair is fair. With that said being I hibernate my car most years from late Oct to early April I do not have that much to impart to others during that time.

Back in 05 I had one of the infamous DBS cars (05 manual that the battery went dead often and it took GM 2 years to finely figure it out) I was on the forum a lot looking for answers and picking other peoples brains. I had a “connection” to a GM engineer that did not want to be identified and I asked questions for him and sent my results back. Since then so far my cars were much better and I have had less to say.

It seems that my comment was taken out of context. I was thinking more along the lines of that the hype from the introduction of the C-7 has worn off and although we love our cars they are becoming more common place. I haven't been here long enough to compare against another introduction of a new series, so it was just a observation on my part. It seems that I have raised some ire from some members. Not the intent.

I came to this forum when I first began considering ordering my first corvette a 2015 C7. There is a wealth of knowledge here and members with a lot of experience who have been into Corvettes for years. Researching and asking questions here helped me tremendously to put together what I consider my dream car. By the time I received an allocation BG was already into the 2016 production line. I consider that a win for me since they made a few changes between model years. I visit often but usually only post when I have something to contribute. Most of the time I just read and absorb some of the great information posted here. I still think this is a great forum and I tend to filter out any negative posts and usually don't pay attention to them. Thanks to the members here for educating me. Happy Easter.

All I can say is this forum has been really helpful to me in making my purchase decision...and getting to know every quirck and nuance of my ride before she's delivered.

I just ignore the negative stuff.

I'm not an old time regular but have cut my forum time down because I've been on the road for most of this year. Surfing the web on my phone sucks.
