What you're looking at is the top of my windshield. There are tiny "bubbles" almost all the way across. Kind of odd for a new car, let alone a $65k car. The car is brand new, 2016. The windshield has the correct GM markings and is set in perfectly. I'm I being too picky? Is this a normal?
That does not look normal to me. I would go to your dealer and check out the other cars on the lot, then bring it to service and tell them the problem. If they start in with "that is normal" tell them none of the other Corvettes on the lot have it"... assuming they don't after you check them out.

Thanks. I HATE having anyone touch my cars after the factory has put it all together. Some of you may feel differently, but it's never the same after. Is the strip on top of the windshield removable? Maybe it wasn't pushed down all the way when attached?
No, definitely not normal. No need to look at other cars as it would confirm if/if not they also have defective windshields. The tiny bubbles are likely caused by contaminants/air that got in between the layers of glass and lamination during assembly. It may or may not get worse and it may affect the integrity of the glass. It should be replaced,
Probably wasn't visible at the time of the cars manufacturing. The bubbles often don't develop and become visible until the car has had enough exposure to the sun. The heating/cooling cycles causes the interior separation or delamination process to occur.
Thanks guys, but not feeling any better. Still means some jackass who could care less about my new car has to rip off the current windshield and replace it. Hating that thought
I don't think I'd mess with it. No one else will even notice. I'm like most, I'd rather endure the little things than have someone screw up my car and take the chance that fixing it might end up making things worse than just leaving it alone.
