I have no idea what brand it was and as near as I can figure, it was put on shortly after it was bought, circa 2014. It was pitting and had water spots. There wasn't much that could be done.
The film came off relatively easily from the fenders and bumper, though it was still not easy. It seems the hood film was pretty much cooked on. There's not a lot of insulation between the engine and hood.
I have a love hate with PPF. It did help keep the front of the car protected but removing it from the hood did damage. Most of it was fixed but there are a couple of areas that aren't perfect.

Drove to the Eastern Shore in MD.
On thy way up Solomons
Island Rd, I called onStar to report a fire on the side of the road.
My guess is that it was some dumbass who threw a butt out of the window.
Lunch was delicious, however.

Changed the oil and filter (Mobil 1 5w-30 and AC Delco PF68). While it was up on jackstands, I also pulled all four wheels and raised the ride height a bit. When I first got the car last Summer, I had lowered the height on the stock bolts as far as they would go. I found that, with my front splitter, I was dragging on everything, so raised them just a little (1 1/2 turns on each corner). Maybe raised the car 3/4" all around...I notice a difference as a exit my driveway.

I am starting off a thread for people to post what they are doing with their C7 : Mods, Maintenance, Joy-Rides. This has been a popular thread on some of the other car forums I frequent.
I will start it off, for my 2017 GS 1LT M7 :
- Installed CAGs eliminator
- Installed Blockit Mats
- Checked and topped-off the rear diff gear oil (4 ounces underfilled)
- Gave it its first wash

Put new battery in this weekend and drove it on Sunday. Felt pretty good after driving the truck for two weeks.

I have had the clicking,,, ticking noise from the interior of the car while driving. I installed four O-rings on the removable tops pegs and the noise is gone. Size 14x2.5mm.
You can get this box online and is very handy fixing many things.

Taking mine tomorrow to get hyper detailed.
Dry Ice blast of underbody, engine bay, and wheel wells. Interior detail, and XPEL fusion (ceramic coat) over my XPEL PFF because my old ceramic coat has worn out (put it on 5-6 years ago)

A little errand running today. Drove it into town yesterday, UPS guy stopped in the middle of the street to compliment my beauty, then he had to stop and talk some more when I went to drive past him... these cars are traffic stoppers aren't they?! I am a convert.
