I've had some engine parts painted with tension blue on them. I did find out from the vendor the PPG number is 922601.

Yea, the issue is that it isn't a paint on the car from the factory, so there isn't a paint code as people are mentioning. There probably is some official pantone color spec they have, but I haven't seen that released in any way from GM.

As one of the earliest posters of this thread, I like to visit from time to time to see how things are going. I almost bought a Collector's Edition but went with a 2LT Grand Sport which essentially mimics the look of a CE, but with red trims. That being said, a couple of things:

1) I went to George Matick Chevrolet for an oil change and routine maintenance. There are no remaining CEs in stock. I believe the Google Sheet has #409 documented as "available", so that might need to be updated. Not sure who bought it, or if the owner even posts on the forums. I only talked to my dealer (AJ) briefly as I saw him right after my vehicle was ready and was heading out.

2) Showstoppers has some real quality work. I'm getting some fuel rail covers alongside a carbon fiber engine cover and cap set which should be here in about 3 weeks or so. He's done a great job with the CE look and feel. The proof is in the pudding ( see above and https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1596643930 << here ).

Thanks, good to see you're still keeping up!

I've been a little behind on the new cars as I was getting all the options updated, I'll try to make a pass through it soon, list is getting shorter so it goes faster! I'll update all of the Matick ones though to be sure they are all shown as sold. Appreciate the update.

OK, you motivated me, I just went through them. I'm seeing 57 still for sale, number keeps getting smaller!

Thanks, and congrats on joining the GSCE community!

I've updated the registry with your information!

Looks like you are one of the few (51) that came from the factory with red calipers! Only 5 of those were manual transmission cars....

I almost bought 888 looked at it in person at Texas Direct in Houston. I ended up purchasing 395 convertible from Connecticut. Great looking machine.

Very nice, congrats! I have the registry updated with your info.

I was showing that as a car originally delivered to GM. Can you say how many miles were on the car when you took delivery and if it was sold to you as a new car or used?

I got my goodies from Pete at Showstoppers and installed them and I got my vanity licence plates which pretty much says it all.

I like your carbon Fiber frame. Great minds think alike. I bought one very similar about 5 moths ago. Goes well with all my exposed CF options. My vanity plate was off my 08 Z06, but since I have the Z07 package I decided to keep it.

Nice. I got mine on eBay and had the logo on it with clear coat over top so I can't really change the colours but it's ok. Pretty subtle. I have the Z07 package as well. I LOVE the brakes and suspension but the jury is still out on the tires. I love the grip but I don't think I'm going to love the mileage down the road....

I also bought mine on Ebay.

I bite the bullet and changed the tires while I still had good milage left (1000 miles on the tires) and put on the Pilot super sport tires. There is a market for those Cup tires especially for people who track their cars. Sold them to a forum member in TX. Michelin told me they most likely would not last more than 3K miles.

I have the conti extreme contact tires for the street now. Had 11k on the Michelins, would have lasted longer but got a nail in the rear, so I just replaced them all. Btw, had 3 track days on them also crazy grip. Not sure if you saw the pic from the Cosworth app, but lap times at VIR were 1:18's, and pulled 1.33 g' s on those the third track day. I have Hoosier r7's for the track now.... love them!

Please post pics of floor mats. I’m hoping the floor mats are black with tension blue GS logo. I have wide body conversion but I have Z51 badges. My light gray floor mats will always look dingy. I want black mats but with logo

Post #5 in this thread has a picture of the floor mats, maybe that is enough?
