I personally love the black z51 wheels. My car looked exactly like yours when I bought it but I swapped the wheels and think it looks great. I also just added a z06 grill, spllitter and changed the badges to carbon flash to complete the LBR on black look.

Glad your issue was resolved! As for the wheels I would go with black.

I like the black wheels, but the chrome wheels would work with that color, too. If you opt for the black wheels, I would get rid of the chrome trim piece on the front grill.

I would leave the wheels alone, the silver painted wheels look great with LBR and they are pretty rare too, at least on here.

Machined faced aluminum is what I choose for my White Grand Sport on order.

However liked the black wheels on my Crystal Red Metalic 2014 I just sold. It had a visible carbon fiber roof, to which I added CF side skirts, CF splitter, CF hood vent and real CF grill cover.

I think your Vette looks nice with the silver wheels. If you change them I would think either a gun metallic gray or black wheel would look nice.

Brandon,
I like that Long Beach Red, very nice. As for the wheels, Black is nice, but it so common, it won't set your Corvette off from the others. The Gunmetal recommendation might be nice or buy black chrome or have the wheels painted to match machine faced. I do believe there are more black wheeled C7s than any other color including the base painted silver. Maybe it just seems that way.

Black rims are more aggressive looking, chrome, silver are more neutral to flashy looking IMO.

So much of this is a personal preference. People here are gonna vote for what they like. Get what you like based on the pics you have seen.

Love my black wheels! That being said, my car is white. With yours I'd split the difference and go with black machined wheels. I think it would be very sharp. Still, the black wheels rock!

I usually have the same response, but he asked

For me, whomever's name is on the registration, is the only opinion that counts.

Go with Black wheels, they make the car look more sinister and are easier to keep clean (well maybe brake dust just not as noticeable!).
Enjoy your replacement!!
