best of BOTH WORLDS... had them on my C6 after going through the debate like yourself.
very nice, love the LBRM
My son has a Dodge Dart (yeah, sorry, bear with me) with wheels painted a dark metallic gray. It's not silver, it's not black, just halfway in between. Called "granite crystal." It might be worth trying something like that as an interim step before springing for new wheels.
Glad you got it sorted out. Nice looking car and GREAT color. Black wheels all day long. I think they look great with LBR. You taking that thing in to Karim to get coated?

Yes sir! That's my next stop, gonna do the Modesto coating. Now if I can only find a pair of black wheels...
With the black grills accenting your car it only makes sense to finish it off with black wheels right? Geezer to me would be shiney chrome wheels on this color of car. Silver, not so much. I love wheels, but they should complement and not take away from the car. Bombs away

Speaking of "bombs away," has anyone seen WWII vintage aircraft in polished aluminum? If I wanted shiny, I might try polishing and then clear coating the stock wheels.
So just picked up my replacement Vette after going through a nightmare with my first one. I must say I'm much happier with the long beach red metallic than the black rose metallic.
I'm looking for opinions on whether or not to do black wheels. Please chime in with your opinions!
I have a similar long beach red and initially thought about getting them blacked out, but really love the look of the shiny wheels
Generally Speaking! In my humble opinion, I think on darker color cars black wheels tend to blend in with the color of the car and lacks contrast. However, on lighter color cars, the black wheels are a nice contrast and looks better.
There are a few exceptions in that a black C7 with everything blacked out including black wheels is awesome. That said, I think machined face finished black wheels gives the best of both worlds showing black & silver together or chrome looks best on darker color cars.
At the end of the day, people have different biases and taste and ultimately will lean toward them and it you are happy with your car that's all that really matters. We are not a monolithic society nor are our cars because they represent who we are as individuals in our taste!
Some of us are creative and artistic whereas others are straight no chaser!

Brandon....PLEASE don't go with black wheels. They're SO overplayed.
Try these....XO Luxury Wheels. They style is called Verona.
Like silver (or whatever color that is) and chrome wheels aren't overplayed. Those Verona's would look awesome in black!
To the op, I don't see much if any black already going on with your car so I'd probably go with something other then black. I'm very partial to black but it has to be part of the total look IMO.
