Thanks for the compliment and I am by no way a chrome wheel hater but the Black wheels also look great on the yellow C7'S like this one. To many guys on this CHROME ONLY THREAD TO STICK UP FOR BLACK WHEELS!

I like any clean black wheels particularly aftermarket that have been recently detailed. I hate dirty black wheels that the owner chose simply because they are too lazy to ever wash their car. But 60% of the all black look folks typically are in the "love my car dirty" camp. Re: Chrome wheels. HRE no longer sells chrome wheels. Why? The new President is a Metallurgical Engineer and has said: "I won't put a hard metal (chrome plating) over a soft metal (aluminum)." They do polished and brushed and cleared wheels however to give that look.

Of course some of those with black rims say the same thing about those with chrome. 
Some of you, just so juvenile.....so passionate about a wheel color choice, when Chevy guys in general get clowned incessantly in other car forums. We're better off banding together to ward off all the outside hate, instead of hatin' on each other's wheel color choice (or transmission choice, or color choice).

So so painfully true....thanks for stating the 800 pound elephant in the room. Chrome wheels....the single worst decision of the Corvette Team in the last 40 years. I pray they will free us from this scourge sooner than later ! Please !😁

I'm a millennial, and I have a Corvette with Chrome wheels. They sure beat painted wheels, which I find harder to clean. Personally polished aluminum is my favorite but chrome is nice too, and easy to keep clean.

I have one just like that, bought it in January. I went to my older brothers house Sunday and one of the first things he said was "you want me to find you some chrome rims". I will keep the white ones in case I decide to sell it but am definitely looking for some other rims.
