Chrome wheels are downright TACKY!! They don't belong on a high-end car let alone a high-end sports car! That's why you don't see most of the high-end brands offer them. I think only Cadillac and Kia offer chrome wheels these days.

Rant all you like....all the curmudgeon doo woppers that loooooove Corvette so much that are utterly clueless to see beyond their driveway...
You have succeeded in turning off mountains of new, younger buyers with a parade of tacky chrome. So feel good about yourself, you have perpetuated the out of touch, crank-a $$ stereotype. Friends of mine who are sports car owners and LIKE Corvette cringe at the sight of chrome rims....there's a reason for it. I can only look forward to being free from this plague.
