So I found out that the motion sensor on my 3LT only works when is the top is on, if I take the top off there is a small pin that is dis-engaged and will not allow the motion sensor to do its job. I like to leave my top down in some places and would like to use the motion sensors, so is their an aftermarket piece I can buy to help me with this?
If you have a coupe, then yes, there is a work-around using a small wall anchor in the hole with the pin. If you have a Vert, then no, there is no work-around.

I had heard about the wall anchor but was hoping there was a better option, I took a picture for future reference.

A dowel, wall anchor, or anything that fits in the hole and pushes in the switch actuator pin will enable the alarm. You may be able to fit a cardboard or plastic cylinder in the hole that will acommodate the roof pin.

Note that falling leaves or curious birds will then set off the alarm.
