Too bad there isn't one of these vert-only threads in the C5 section. I'll be buying a C7 vert around the time that the C8 comes out. Meanwhile, life is good.

I know that in the future there will be plenty of other potential buyers just like me, and it will be very helpful for them to come directly to this section to find answers to their questions.

The photos that have already been posted are helping me to get ideas for my ideal C7 convertible. Keep 'em coming! I am focused on finding the right Premiere Edition, but my mind could be changed very easily.
X2

That's where I'm at too. Finding the right used C7 vert, or ordering a new one. Either way, I'm ONLY a vert buyer, regardless.

My question is: Does the alarm go off under any other conditions?

Such as...
1. The top down and the windows either up or down and someone sticks an arm inside?
2. Or, the top up with either of the windows down?

Thanks in advance for your enlightened replies!
I've had the same experience as you. Alarm goes off, top up windows closed. Radar detector fell. Would love to be able to have the alarm on with top down as I keep putting the top up even if i'm only gone for a few minutes. Would rather leave it down. I've also put it valet mode with the top down but also have to remove the radar detector and put in the cubby or glove compartment. PITA.

I currently have a ‘14 coupe but have an ‘18 Vert on order. I have always used a wall anchor to depress the switch on the left top of the windshield when I had my top off. Are you not able to do this on a Vert?

Thank you Mods for putting this sub section up. I had always gone through the forums looking for Vert posts... Now they are all here in one place. Just awesome.

I just love that gray top on the Verts. Gives it a unique element that is different than the same ol same ol black... How has it been holding up as far as the color? Are you satisfied with it?
