Has anyone had a rattle when top is up? On and off and it will contine through many cycles. Then one day it will be ok. The noise seems to be in center were it meets windshield. Dealer has no clue and I am not sure if Top problems are covered in extended warranty.
I had some creaking in my top then I found a service bulletin (#17-NA-278) dated 8/29/17 addressing the issue. They had to replace some of the fastener screws with larger ones in the bows. Since the dealer replaced the screws, it has been perfect!
Thanks for the quick replies, just what I was looking for!
Blue Max Actually the wife does well packing but we do have "spillover" space in the backseat of the Camaro.
Thanks again.
Blazer, fortunately my bride is vertically challenged, and there is a little room behind the back seat on her side. I usually slide the compooter back there. And, on the floorboard behind both seats there is room to put umbrellas, and smaller stuff. You can get a fairly good bunch of stuff in a Vert, you just have to use your imagination for storage of things in every nook and cranny.

Sunday morning in Malibu. I got to have both of my convertibles there. A 1977 and a 2017. A friend of mine from Rochester NY drove the Black Rose 2017 GS. We had to wipe them down as we ran into some unusual rain!!! Administrator savewave was kind enough to let us try a sub-section for Convertibles/Roadsters/Drop-tops or what ever you want to call them as a sticky for a month to see if their was enough traffic to justify it's existence.
My own experience has been frustrating trying to find info that applies to verts only and having to sift thru hundreds of posts trying to find a owner with a soft top car to chat with. Let's see if we can generate enough posts on here to make it permanent.
I've owned about twenty Vettes and only one was a coupe. When I was looking for my current '14 Z51 3LT M7 MRC roadster, I was flexible on the color but the manual roadster was the only car I considered.
Help me make this work!

Just picked it up from Mac Haik Chevrolet, Houston, Texas - November 25th 2017.
It's a beauty Joe, congratulations. BTW, I think Mac Haik is the "Rick Hendricks" of Texas. Looks like he sells every brand available. I've checked his prices on F-150's, and he is hard to beat.
so thanksgiving I drove from fla to nc for a few days. I assumed the top would not lower because of the temp--50's. the owners manual said this should be noted on the dash, if this is the issue, but it did not. I tried to recycle the top and nothing would work, several times over 3 days. it did come down once in myrtle Beach after the car sat in the sun during lunch.
strange Is there a temp sensor now that won't let the top retract ?
There has been since at least 2005. Back then the limit was 0*F, on the C7 it is -4*F.
I've operated mine in the lower 30s.
Since there was no message on the DIC, the problem was most likely something else. Maybe the windows needed indexing? Most other likely problems will have a message associated, such as trunk not closed or the partition not attached.
