Foosh, when you say "exactly the same seats," do you mean the seat frames or all of the foam and bolsters as well? Respectfully... Having first test driven a new 2016 1LT before experiencing 2LT seats in a slightly used '15, I can tell you they did not feel like "exactly the same seats" to me. I eventually wound up with a slightly used 3LT and those seats, as you suggest, mirror the 2LT seats. But, I clearly remember feeling the 1LT seats were not padded as well as the others.
Yes, same frames and foam, but 2LT and above have electronically adjustable lumbar and side bolster support, as well as being heated and ventilated. That may be the difference you felt depending upon how they were adjusted.

I know what you meant by "identical" because I understood the upgrades for the 2/3LTs to be just that.... "upgrades" for those that want those features.... or not....LOL.
It remains a fact though that you can only judge acceptability and comfort for You/Passenger one way.... go sit in some and if possible drive a distance in various configurations. A chair that is totally comfortable for one person is unsuitable for another..... but take heart....
I am 6' 3" and my wife is 5' 1" and we BOTH find the 3LT seats/adjustments suitable and comfortable for our different body sizes.
BTW....Living in a colder climate, I love the heated seats and, with memory, my wife and I can slip into the C7 and find it very comfortable .... perfection...top up or down!!.... Now if the passenger seat also had memory as she adjusts it totally different from my needs but hey, I do not think I know of a vehicle with memory on passenger side.....smile.....LK

One aspect I was not quite prepared for when I purchased my C7 Vert are all the conversations that pop up while stopped at a light, or parking, etc. People in nearby cars (and quite a few trucks) roll down their windows and start talking to me. People on the sidewalk come over to either compliment or ask questions.
All positive comments, but kind of caught me off guard the first time. Now it's kind of fun!

its embrassesing and cool all at the same time but never gets old
Just traded/upgraded to my 2nd Corvette, both convertibles and in truth never seriously considered a coupe!
The C6 was great but the new C7 is astounding!

I also had a C6 prior to my C7 and while I heard other C7 owners say how much better the 7 was over the 6, I wasn't convinced. Then I drove a 7 and now I'm a believer. You have one sweet looking car and congratulations.

I remember saying "it's going to be hard for GM to make a Vette any better than the C6". Wrong again.....
I am looking for opinions. If I buy a 1LT, am I likely to regret it later? I definitely can afford a 2LT or 3LT, but I like the basic appearance of this 1LT.
Don't do it. There's so much good sh*t on the 2LT AND 3LT, you're definitely going to regret it IMO.

Happens to me quite often. I came out of the local Kroger this evening to find a gentleman trying to figure out what the tow eye was. I explained its use in simple terms. He liked the idea. Picture is from Spring Mountain in Sept.

We had ours on a three week road trip last year. Everyday without fail someone would walk up, and ask about the car. A couple conversations were about the Corvette that they once owned. One was a young boy with his Mom, and before he left I let him sit in the car while his Mom took pictures. Of course the kids are the most fun, and I've never been bothered by those that want to have a conversation. I try to remember that I drive a car that many dream about owning, but just can't because of different factors in their lives.

I've had everything from slack jawed kids being dragged by their oblivious mothers, to sad eyed dads getting kids out of mini vans, to a girl at a bus stop yelling " that corvette would sure look good underneath me".
The kids are the best.
Yep. I dropped my wife off at the airport a few months back and a boy around 7-8 years old started jumping up and down, pointing, and tugging at his dad's pant leg in excitement. I gave him a big rev and made sure to ride out first longer than usual.
Brought back memories of the Chicago auto show my dad and I went to every year. Good stuff!
Was on the way home from taking delivery and stopped for lunch. A couple just stopped dead in their tracks- She said she didn't know what that was but really liked it! He said it was a new Corvette and told me it was stunning.
