Since there was no message on the DIC, the problem was most likely something else. Maybe the windows needed indexing? Most other likely problems will have a message associated, such as trunk not closed or the partition not attached.
Sunday morning in Malibu. I got to have both of my convertibles there. A 1977 and a 2017. A friend of mine from Rochester NY drove the Black Rose 2017 GS. We had to wipe them down as we ran into some unusual rain!!! Who chopped your 77 T-top and made it into a roadster? Looks like a pretty nice job from here. Did they add the structural reinforcements also? I didn't see the 'x' on the plate in the first pic and thought you were pulling our leg about a '77 convertible.
I've got a '75 roadster that is one of the last ones built with 29k miles but it needs a complete restoration mainly due to the battery exploding from buildup of hydrogen gas from a trickle charger many years ago.

I, too had a '75 Vert... Orange L82 with fawn interior. To my eyes, the '75 Verts were among the prettiest Corvettes ever produced.
I PM'd Frank to ask if his car was a convertible-ized '77 or a re-titled '75. No disrespect to Frank... his car is exquisite. And, I'd sure like to see his VIN Number.

My friend and Owner of The Fiberglass Body In Hawthorne, California, Scott Kenning, chopped the T-top part off and reconstructed the convertible piece with my help (or interference depending how you look at it. The frame did not get any structural reinforcements. I believe that the frames were the same for T-tops and convertibles. The only difference that convertible had were some extra bracing under the dash that I know of.

Doug, good luck with that 75 restoration.
You are correct Frank. Back in those days GM designed the Coupes, and then just put a convertible on the frame. I could put my finger between the door panel, and dash of my '72, and could feel the thing flex when I turned into the driveway.

My wife is looking to order a 2019 GS. She is concerned about a certain color combination. Here is what she is looking to order.
Arctic White
Red interior
GS Heritage Package
Red Hash marks
Red Calipers
Blue heritage stripe
Blue top
The concern is how will the blue top look against the blue stripe. Is it a good match, bad match or will it look okay. We've done the build on the Chevy webpage and it looks great there. Will it look like that for real. I can't seem to find that color combination in any photos.

My suggestion to you is to look at the blue tops color in person. It is very difficult to photograph and look like it does in person I have a AW vert Twilight Blue Design Edition and every photo I've taken it always looks black and/or not even close to the "in person" color.

Yeah...I've been trying to find one nearby. I'll keep searching.

Ed, I've built that combo on GM's site quite a few times, and wondered the same thing. Might I suggest contacting one of our forum vendors, i.e. Mike Furman at Chriswell, Rick Conti at Coughlin, etc. One of them will probably know as they are quite knowledgeable concerning everything Corvette. That's what I was going to do before I settled on a combo. It will be an absolutely beautiful vert I am sure.

Please post pictures after she gets it. It has to look fantastic.

Yeah....I'm gonna reach out to Mike and see what he has to say.
Have you ever tried this? You're standing around with some friends, say, waiting for the gym to open first thing in the morning. Hide your fob on your hip and say "Execute folding top motion." Hit the remote top down button. Tell everyone it's voice recognition and say "It only responds to my voice." You'd be surprised how many people will believe it.

There has been since at least 2005. Back then the limit was 0*F, on the C7 it is -4*F.
I've operated mine in the lower 30s.

That's interesting. My '14 vert would not lower the top at 20 deg F. I did get the message that it was too cold to operate the top. I left it outside to test how the car worked when it was cold out.

Just telling you all what this handy-dandy thing called an OM said. That coupled with my own experience.
