Burning Brakes
Just picked my 3rd C7 from MacMulkin
Just picked my 8th Corvette, 5th one from Tommy Jr.
I had my name on an incoming GS convertible. After mulling over the bent, cracked wheel issues and brake dust issue, and more car than I really need, I changed my mind. I’d currently owned a 2016 Stingray, Z51, MSRC, 2LT, which I only get to drive 6 months out of the year and I never tracked the car. At 68 years young I decided on getting this Stingray that had just come in at MacMulkin. I feel it is less prone to issues than the GS. It’s a bit of a step backwards, but it more than meets my needs.
Definitely prefer the top down look of the C7 Vert vs C8 Vert.
I feel that the iconic look of the white, red and black looks awesome on the C7!
It's Arctic White, Adrenaline Red, 2LT, A8, Chrome wheels, red calipers.

I think the dust issue will still be with you and you have a beautiful car!!! All is good.

Replacing the factory brake pads with ceramics will cure the dust problem

‘I’ll be replacing the pads on my Z51 within the next couple of months with the Carbotech™ 1521 pads. I hate the dust. Also looking to replace black wheels with chrome down the road.

IMO, chrome wheels will really make that dark green "POP" even more than it currently does.

New Convertible
Ordered my 1st Convertible on 6/8. It arrived at Edmond, Okla dealership 7/25 and I took delivery on 7/26. Always owned coupes, but I am loving the Convertible life. Thanks to my supportive wife ! My grandson named the car “Bluecifer” after the horse at Denver International Airport with the demon like Blue Eyes. First long road trip will be The Caravan to Bowling Green.
