If you ever thought of blanking out those insidious, ugly warning stickers on the underside of the sun visors, I can recommend contact paper on Amazon. Carbon fiber, or otherwise, you find a cheap roll of a design you like and then cut to fit. OMG it looks so much better! Just my humble opinion, but I blame CF for showing me this tip!

Getting cool here in MN. I finally changed over to all season Michelins and looking forward to an extended season. In warmer weather we drive almost 100% top-down mode. But I am always amazed how nice this car is to drive top-up. It's SO quiet!! I have had a few verts in the past, and they always seemed to have a slight air leak somewhere with the top up. But not the C7! And, while I think I am in the minority, I actually like the lines of the vert better than the coupe, either top-up or top-down.

Great Idea, I am in and I also have a question... I purchased my first 2014 3LT Vert earlier this year and living in the midwest, it is sadly time that I will be putting it away into the garage with cover on for a couple of months. My question is if there is any advice to store it with the Top up or down over the winter months?? Thanks in advance.

Since you likely don't have the Owner's Manual, I will first suggest you down load a digital copy of it for future reference. It clearly states that the top should be up when not driving the car or stored. Mostly to minimize creases in the canvas. Good luck and enjoy that car!

Beautiful Vette! The Owner's manual recommends top up storage:

"Ditto" on everything you say here! As a former Duluth resident many years back, I can relate. Just put the top up on mine yesterday after having it down since the beginning of May, but we occasionally have a few top-down days in the winter down here in Oklahoma, but not many.

Good stuff and I agree. Easy maintenance. I think a lot of people forget to maintain and protect that part of the car because your not waxing/coating it.

Thanks for that info.
That top has over 33k miles folded.Maybe 200 miles up.Always up parked.Usually topless with the sun shining to roughly 44 degrees.Easier on the joints than a Harley.Seat heat, windows up helps topless.BIGLY!
Only been washed with car soap then dried before stowing.Been rained on maybe 3 times. It will get that 303 Convertible Care kit with some paint correction.May even go Ceramic after feeling the finish on a installers truck yesterday... Ohh,It was so SLICK!
