I'm in the market for side skirts. Any idea how these compare to say the ACS Zero7 side skirts (in terms of width, quality, etc.)?

these are good quality for sure. I've never seen the other brand in person. Satisfaction guaranteed on our skirts.

Do you also sell a front splitter, etc.?

If you are also installing the JW Motorsports Stage 2 Front Splitter, the guide for that install is here:

Couldn't you just use some 3M two way tape instead of drilling the holes and risk hitting the cooling lines? I mean it's not a weight bearing piece so it just need to be held in place.

Could you? Probably. But the tape would not hold the panel close enough to the car for it to look aesthetically pleasing on my opinion.

Not as good, IMO!

I used rivets on the install on my 2104. GM uses 13 rivets per side on my Grand Sport Stage 2 aero package. Watched the dealer C7 Tech as he drilled.

Had them on my 2014 for ~3 years. Brushed them a number of times with the back of my foot when I got out! No issue. Every time I had a passenger I would recite a speech about not hitting them when they got out! Recall when I picked up daughter at the airport who only travel in the car a few times! She said, "I Know!" Have had friends say the same thing! If I had just used tape would be more concerned. Better to be a PIA than sorry!

Had some PM's from folks who's skirts did not fit tight because they used tape and told me after they used rivets they looked better. Too bad that tape still caused them to not fit as tight as they could without!

You're drilling into soft composite panels, it is very easy. I slipped a thin piece of sheet metal behind the rocker panel before drilling. Could also use a drill stop.

Understand it is mostly a psychological problem for some. After you drill the first rivet hole that goes away!

FWIW

That is the reason I decided not to add side skirts. I did not want to have to keep reminding my wife when getting in and out of the car.. Just not worth it.

BTW, great tip about slipping a thin piece of sheet metal behind the rocker panel before drilling. Drilling into the transmission lines on an A8 would be a complete disaster and a very very expensive repair!

Good info guys. They do take some getting used to when exiting the vehicle. IMO the look is worth it. It's just adds that aggressive look that you can't find with anything else.

Fully understand! My wife seldom rides in the Vette and I would have to be much more careful about warning her! My buddy and daughter who have ridden in it several times are obviously irritated with my "Don't step in the side skirt" speech! They let me know- I don't care, my buddy would certainly offer to pay for it but I would not accept, he'd feel bad so just easier to take some flak!

The wife would probably be mad for several days the second time I told her! In that case I say wait and I will help you get out, then just watch where she puts her feet! Actually far prefer that she seldom rides in it as when she does I have to short shift and drive like an old man! No fun! Have had two granddaughters (both in college) accelerate to redline in 2nd and 3rd but they had to swear they would not tell their mom!
