No matter which type you use, make sure they stay with the vehicle.
This means if you use leave-in pucks, great! If you use place-in pucks, always leave them in the vehicle, because you never know when your car might need to be jacked up. They aren't doing any good in the garage or the other car. Cheap insurance to have a set for EVERY car that needs them.
I leave my aluminum billet sets in each respective car in the rear cubby.
