Most do not purchase the waiver. You would have to make a very bad error to hit anything. If you pay attention the instructor will not let you overdrive your skill level.

Yeah, there aren't really any walls to hit and you have to drive in Sport 1. I spun out (twice I think) but nothing happened to the car. It's really hard to find something to hit and then hit it to begin with, but especially in sport 1. It's not like you're driving without any aids.
When I spun off they charged me $200 because a wheel got scratched up.
