yeah its hard to see. That's the idea. And those pics are mostly forum members who purchased, applied, and posted here on the forum.

Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks

FYI,

The cheapest place I've found the GM guards is eBay. Brand new, $118.99 shipped, no tax.

I also like the fact that they use they use the 3 fender-liner torx screws to attach as opposed to the spring clips.
I bought the ACS to install on my GS when it arrives, but didn't buy anything for the back. Do you think the backs are worth it?

Yes, I do. ACS doesn't offer rear guards and recommend the GM version.

Rock protection isn't really necessary given how short the area is behind the rear tires, but it does keep that area cleaner.

Wow! Are those installed right???

I just got mine in the mail but I'm not going to install them if that look like that! Their website makes them look MUCH smaller and closer to OEM.

Mine from ACS look the same as those, and are installed correctly. The whole point of the ACS guards is that they are wider/larger than the GM splash guards to offer more protection.

Pics are a bit hard to use as a judge but IMO they don't "stick out" to far at all. "Form Follows Function" and I think they look great!

Frankly had GM splash guards on my 2014 Z51 and don't think they did much to help pebbles hitting the rocker panels. Added side skirts that did the job! For the Grand Sport need all the help I can get!

These are my pics:

ACS Front, GM Rear.

These look great...and NOTHING like what ersatz928 is showing above. His look to stick out 2" past the rocker panel!

Yes, I went for fugly functional...they stick out as far as the tire sticks out.....
In the overall look of the C7, I don't think they are as big of an eyesore as you might think...the picture is a close-up view...

Either it's the angle of your photo, or those aren't ACS front guards.

Something isn't right...they don't look like that in any other photo on the web.

They are not ACS...they are generic splash guards trimmed to my liking.

Yes the ACS Splash Guards are well made and provide extra protection a bit more than the GM product. There are many "mud flaps" one could add but they don't look fitting for a Vette, IMO.

And the waist looks oh so much better as a result.

In all seriousness, I never had any rock chipping issues in that area even with the GM splash guards, and the ACS provide extra protection. In a week or so XPEL Ultimate will take care of the rest. Moreover, one of the nice things about the "narrow-body" shape, which I prefer is that it is far less vulnerable to damage.
