Quick question - had no clue the rear 1/4 panels get hammered on Z06 - not an issue in Stingray

Confused as to why you will not see a line between original surface and where cleartastic ends when you are not doing the entire panel



Also I would assume this kit is for both sides ( not seeing what exactly comes with kit

Yup. That whole area gets blasted.
Because of the body, wide tires and the flared fender, we learned from the C6 Z06, GS, Zr1, that area gets hammered. Its the same with the 7th gen. So we created a few kits to help protect the vulnerable areas. The one you picked is our most popular for the Z06's & GS's

The film becomes virtually invisible when you apply it which makes it hard to see the line. The red car on our site has it on. Its a member from this forum. Bought it. Applied it. posted pictures. Its there but its hard to see Click the link below to see pic's

We could have done the whole fender but the idea is to make the kits easy to apply plus it would triple the price for film that would never see a rock.

Hi - can I get an up close picture to see if there is a visible line where protection ends on rear 1/4 panel - find it hard to believe you dont see a line where it stops due to not being a full piece - I would assume you dont have full rear fender films - also this price is for both sides ? 1 kit does both sides ?

The only pictures we have for our Kit 96-CP (Rear Fender) , are the ones we posted and they are from customer & forum members.. I went back and found one that you can barely see the line in this cropped picture. Its a pretty close up shot



Yes this is the only kit that does not have the film going to an edge however looks pretty good if you ask me. Far better then multiple permanent scattered paint chips.

As for the price ($69.95) its for both sides.

Regarding doing the whole fender, I explained in the previous post that not only would it be difficult for you to apply (Remember these are DIY kits), but it would be triple the price. You'd be paying for film that will never touch a stone. A big waste of money. If you rather pay then deal with that line above...well then ok, I hear ya.

Its there in the picture. Hard to see but If you look across the middle you can see a faint line. But if you still can't see it, that's kind of good thing

I hear ya Dennis. The mirrors have a bit of a compound curve to them however we designed the shape/cut to take the difficulty out of it. The instructions are also laid out in a way so they are easy to follow and hold you by the hand for the install. So if you follow the direction to the letter you can't mess up. You can probably put the Rocker kit on with your feet (its that easy).

So maybe try the rocker kit first. Feel out the film, the way the kit is laid out, instructions,....etc and then maybe order the mirrors later.
