I remember reading that someone tried retrofitting grille cameras on a ‘14. He was able to hardwire the harnesses, but ran into software issues. I don’t believe that he was able to get them to work on the OEM HU. Hopefully someone else will chime in...

Nope, you need to go aftermarket. I used a product called NavTool. To install a front camera to display on your NAV screen you would need:
Navtool ~$350
Camera ~$30
HDMI Cord ~$20
HDMI adapter ~$25
You can do it in your garage in about 4-6 hours and a few beers.
