Quickjack 5000 question
i have the quickjack 5000, raised my car a cpl times to do exhaust work.
but i don t see the rubber blocks lining up with the pucks at all.
is front or rear, unless i m dumb, line the front ones up properly, but the rear trays do not allow the blocks to be slid ahead far enough to catch the pucks. i have the blocks moved as far ahead as possible on the back and far back as possible on the front. i put the blocks in and lift on the back approximately 4" to the rear of the puck. has anyone else had this happen ? i know the QJ 3500 is 8" shorter, so maybe that is the difference.

No, when it lifts it goes backwards.
Here are some pictures of it in the up position. I have the 5000 model.
After viewing the other post, I guess it does not matter which way it goes up, I have always just done it from front to rear.
My blocks line up perfectly with my Jacking pucks on the frame, both for my 08 Z06 and the 17 Grand Sport

Melting Slicks
Could you post a photo showing this? Mine line up fine.
Make sure the lines are positioned as you see them in the still photos above. Don't let them get routed on top the jack so that they move with it and stretch when elevated, as the blocks may compress and potentially pinch them against the top bar of the frame. On mine the yellow instruction label end of the jack is at the front of the car, as mentioned in the manual (p. 12), but the video shows it both ways in different places. This is confusing.
The manual says the opposite, but I'm not sure it would matter if your compressor is at the front as in your case. Mine is in the rear and I have it raising to the front.

Some pics of how the blocks line up with the pucks. 2 with the labels to the rear and 2 labels to the front. There is no chance the back blocks

I lift my 2017 GS routinely and the lift moves forward when lifting and I have no fit meant issues with the pucks.
