2014 A6 2-3 shift problem

2014 A6 2-3 shift problem
My 2014 Corvette has 5,000 miles on ODO , mfg Nov 13th 2013 ...One of the first C7 convertibles ,
When in D & full throttle , A6 shifts from 2-3 & I let off throttle .. stays in 2nd till I put in nuetral then back to D. note this is at full operating temp & in D mode.
took to local dealer & told this is a normal characteristic of the transmission, a cold 2-3 flare caused by air bubble ....... my 2007 did not have this problem.
The dealer did not have a mechanic check out , or diagnose problem @ told me to take to the dealer I purchased from..............so I will be setting up apt at Malmulkin......has anyone had this A6 problem with a C7 A6 ?
My thoughts a TCM calibration should be done ? anyone s info will be appreciated, Thanks the Dog

Not saying you don't actually have a problem.
But, did you mean when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd at Full Throttle, it stays in "3rd" when you let off the throttle ?
How long does it stay in that gear if you don't do anything like putting it in Neutral.
Do you know about the Performance mode it goes into at Full Throttle ?
With Full Throttle it will stay in a gear after letting off the throttle.
It does this because it thinks you're racing and will need that gear to keep accelerating.
Stay off the Throttle long enough, and it will automatically drop out of Performance mode and back to normal D Auto mode function.
Another way to make it go back to D normal Auto mode function is Manually change gears, up shift, with the Paddles while it's still in D.

it goes into "performance shift" and will stay in the gear for a specified amount of time of normal driving.. it seems like it is not working like normal because it is keeping the RPM's high for track driving..
