I looked hard at that wheel as well, but since I have matte carbon and the fact I daily drive I decided against it as I think it would get hot as satans sack sitting in the sun.

If nothing else the eBay seller should be pretty happy with his sales today.

You probably all ready did this but look at others on handkraftd site as reference - I think its a poor picture

Also noticed when I disconnected the negative terminal on battery - I just left range Tech and Vitesse controller installed after taking it for a drive the Vitesse is even crazier now - snappier and smoother - no idea why but not complaining - dont have Carbon fiber trim plate until Monday so no real pics yet

Here is quick photoshop of the bad boy - little strange driving a D-Shape but get use to it in no time - if your looking for a great mod for an amazing price this is it other then Vitesse of course

Here is the Ebay listing and the Manufacturers site:

SO...apparently they ONLY use real carbon fiber and no fake printed carbon fiber...EXCEPT for the ones they make with hydro carbon (i.e.fake printed carbon fiber).

Ha, yep. Good thing I’m a function over form type. And for the cost, no way it’s real CF. I’m really excited to get this wheel and review it. I have wanted a wheel for a while but can’t bring myself to spend 4 figures. I spend to much on brakes and tires lol. This looks like the perfect option for a track car. Maybe not so much for the cars and coffee crowd. I will be a happy camper If it looks good, feels good, and holds up to abuse. Based on the OP’s review, I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Carbon fiber isn't that expensive.

People charge a lot for it because they know they can. They've got people fooled into thinking hand laid wet "appearance only" carbon is the same as engineered, structural carbon that was vacuum bagged in an autoclave. It's not.

^ Was going to say the same.

It's just the new fiberglass, but looks pretty when woven.

Confirmed from seller that lower trim does not fit their wheels.

Some material is cheap and others really expensive. It's the consumables that are expensive and there is a lot of time into making each part.

My wheels is being delivered today. Might have some pics up tonight, depending on when it shows up. I also broke down and ordered a carbon fiber trim. Hopefully it’s not to different from the wheel.
