I am in the market for an aftermarket rear diffuser. I have searched for various manufactures and have found a good bit that use stock photos and such. I was hoping there are some members on here that have added either the bolt on fins, bolt on under trays or full rear diffuser replacements. Pros, cons, thoughts, quality comments, would you do it again and use the same or switch etc are the aspects I am hoping to hear from those that have made the switch. Oh and of course, post pics! Everyone likes to look at pics of the nice phat *** on the C7.
I am leaning towards this but not sold yet. Some photos I like the way it looks, others I am meh. Much like when I first saw pics of the C7, it took me to see multiple angles on here then in person to really appreciate it.
Can’t go wrong with what your thinking, I have g3carbon add on ones that just install with 3m tape. Been on 2 plus years as daily driver with no issues. I will say my buying experience with g3carbon was sub par, but in the end they delivered.
Difflow diffuser. Uses OEM attachment points, no drilling.
The center section with the four rows of diamond cutouts comes standard w/o the cutouts
for better air flow under the car. Living in Texas with 110 degree summers in stop and go driving I had the cutouts made to better allow heat dispersion from the mufflers.

I'm curious as to why do the entire single piece unit when really all you get is the "strakes" underneath that could be more easily done separately. Those I've seen have looked good (if ya like that sorta thing). And, the separate ones could be individually replaced if damaged. Another aspect you may not have considered. Anyway, all the best no matter what you choose.

That's an interesting piece, I haven't come across that on in my searches. I am digging it. Do you have a shot of the car from the side? I would like to see if and how much it protrudes if any.

Where'd you get this diffuser?
Like the look of your car, never saw louvers on a c7 before.
I purchased the add on 4 fin set and had them painted to match the carbon flash metallic that the stock lower valance is painted on my car. I removed the lower valance for installation because the Z06 has extra coolers, pumps, and assemblies in the way prohibiting an easy in place installation. I also wanted to be sure I was able to get the best installation possible. The valance comes off in under 30 minutes. The kit came with templates to ensure proper placement as well as alignment. Overall I'm satisfied with the look and installation process.Total spend was just under $400.
This one by C7 Carbon has an under tray and looks more like the ones on the C7.R. Don't know if it actually makes any difference in the performance but it does look "cool".

That's one of the other ones I really like as well. I was hoping to find C7 owners on the forum that have it to get their thoughts. The under tray I would vinyl over it for added protection.
Was looking for a rear diffuser for my 2014 and considered adding fins. When I got my Grand Sport, C7 Carbon came out with a complete rear diffuser with Fins and an integrated bottom plate. This is a pic/text of the install. I had a C7 Carbon Splitter on my 2014 and this carbon fiber product is equally high quality and a perfect fit. You’ll see in the attached PDF why it fits narrow and wide rear bodies. Bought mine in carbon flash that matches the rear bumper. My Avitar left shows a small pic- many more pics in PDF. Very happy with product.
