My 2015 has only 1300 miles, I took it to my dealer to evaluate, they said they have seen 3 C7 delamination issues "aka bubble" almost always on the top edge in the past month. They also informed me Chevrolet is denying responsibility for this issue, the repair is on me financially. We are talking 1300 miles. Anyone else have this problem?
I don't know if you are experiencing the same thing as I did. About 6 months ago my 2015 Vette had a small crack at the top of the windshield on the passenger side. The crack was on the inside of the glass, so it couldn't be repaired. I took it to my local dealer. The service manager took one look at it and said the windshield would be replaced under warranty. This is a known defect that GM is aware of. Do a search for "Windshield cracks", and you will see pictures. I hope this helps.

Wow that's one heck of a garage queen! Five model years old and 1300 miles. ( not meant to be an insult in any way) Whether GM or safelite replaces its still all free. Just insist on OEM glass. Especially if you have the HUD.

Guilty as charged she makes her monthly run to cars and coffee, otherwise she sits on her racedeck floor with a vintage gas pump and cut outs of Marilyn Monroe and James Dean. Thanks for the ammunition, I do have a GM case #, they are supposed to decide tomorrow.
FYI, Insurance will not cover because there is no crack, it is an issue inside the glass, they deemed it cosmetic, which is correct.
Dealer replaced mine. Had the same bubbles at the top. Dealer at first refused but gave me Phone number for gm customer service. Two days later the dealer contacted me
My 2016 1LT had it before I had to replace it due to rock damage. I had it replaced at Safelite and the new windshield also has it. Fortunately, it does not bother me.
My 17 GS Windshield was recently replaced under warranty. It had a 5" interior crack from Pass Side A Pillar to the Roof and delamination along most of the top edge.
Curiously, the Warranty covered the delam, but not the crack.

if the dealer does not replace at no cost, just contact your insurance co. they will replace at no cost , assuming you have glass coverage under your collision rider.
My 2017 GS Windshield was replaced under warranty due to de-lamination., The Dealer said the first replacement failed because of a bubble, so it took a few days longer than expected to get a new windshield, but the second attempts seemed to be OK (looking) until the first rains of the season - I discovered that the passenger side Footwell is wet.
so it's back to the dealer to discuss...
SIGH!
