I used to put my 5D3 and 16-35 on this rig. Probably of similar value to the A7R3. Just check to make sure everything is mounted securely and you should have nothing to worry about.

Pushing the car can help reduce camera shake. The longer the rig, the more likely camera shake is. It also depends on the smoothness of the road and where the suction cups are mounted. For these shots, engine was on and I operated the shutter via remote.
