You guys with 2016s might want to check out this thread and make sure you don't have the same issue. It was the only other warranty item I have had to have fixed.
No matter what anyone might try to tell ya, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the base car as you have. Some of us (self included) chose such a Vette, intentionally. In fact, I'd have paid extra for even less gobble-de-gook others pay money to get.

Dipping my toe into the C7 world for my first Corvette (2016 Stingray M7, with no options), purchased from a member here for a decent price. The guy was a neat freak and the car is like new in all regards (except center arm rest wrinkles).
I know most hate the 18/19 stock wheels, but I actually like the design. The car is like a blank canvas that I will improve over time (or maybe not ) My first mod will be a NPP (less the valves) I'm getting from another member. I know I get no stealth mode, but the stock exhaust is too quiet so this should be a good upgrade. Later, a spoiler (probably), and black wheels and badges (maybe).
On my fist drive, I noticed other drivers acting weird. This car seems to attract an assortment of cars following me closely, trying to pass me for no reason, and generally causing some folks to go into race mode as soon as they they see me.

Get used to being harassed by people in regular cars/suvs/trucks whatever. It happens with each Vette generation & the current generation is no exception. I usually just let them go by so they can prove to me how fast they are. I figure if they want a ticket that bad who am I to stop them from trying to get one.
Nice looking Stingray. Like you, I also like the silver base wheels. I thought about buying some chrome repros but decided to keep the OEM wheels. Welcome to the group.
