To be clear....I’m old, retired and $900 is a lot to me also....however....90% of this car is paid for. I was having thoughts of going back to and old man’s Lexus and never need a warranty issue, but that would be just rolling over. $900 ??? Give up a couple nights out and move on. Most that read this thread agree with me. I had the car for 6 months, put 1200 miles on it and suffered with service appointments that went no where. There was little hope for resolution. I fished for a possible trade-out and got a bit. Now I will keep my fingers crossed nothing happens to this car.
I actually thought all of you would have been as surprised with the out come as I was. As happy as I am, I really don’t ever want to see this dealership again, but I surely can’t complain how I was treated in the sales department.
Just like others don't need to comment on how folks got the car if their dreams ...
That's why there is black and there is white ....
You will get a thousand opinions, some not related to the thread .... and that's the problem with these forums .........

Especially for younger folks. Put charges on a credit cad, pay the minimum and buy more "stuff!" Keeps the economy going as they have to go to work, perhaps with two jobs, to pay them off. Lets banks make lots of money with the crazy way they can calculate what you have as equity until that last payment is made! Miss one and they are super happy!Side Bar
Was in a line to return something at a big box store with two ~35 year folks in front who going to pay on one of their mothers account. One said, "She always wants me to pay off the full amount. Keep telling her she only needs to pay the minimum." Yep great way to manager your money!

Hmmmm something tells me that these folks would not qualify for. $70,000 to $100,000 no money down note ... what do u think ......
And those that do qualify ... I am sure that they dont pay the minimum amount on their credit cards ....
Now let's get this thread back on track .....

... I’ve tried to convince my wife that certain cars are a good investment, but after 42 years she doesn’t buy it.
In 1988 I bought a brand new Harley for $9500.....owned it for 14yrs and sold it for $12500. A one and only wind fall. She doesn’t fall for that these days, but I try. That logic doesn’t work any longer. A logic I do try to use “I’m not getting any younger and if I don’t do it now” I’m 77yrs old and making up for all the crappy cars I drove growing up. Back on topic.....FYI.....some times it is best to walk away. My peace of mind is worth more than a lousy 900 bucks.
