How important are the 2LT features?
1. I never use the HUD don't care for it on any of my Corvettes.
2. The "ventilated" seats do jack squat.
3. The heated seats are mildly luke warm at best (nothing like my wife's Mercedes).
4. I'm not an audo-guy who values the fancier sounds system.
So for me... 1LT is fine. If the seats were actually air conditioned and the heater worked they would be nice to have for a Convertible.
1LT no lumbar... nada zip...
Also no HUD which is insane to me given how much is going on in the car when driven hard. Should be standard as it is on the Z06.
Imo home link lumbar and HUD should be stand alone or included even on base car. Ridiculous
Only you can make the decision whether or not you "need" these things.
Gee...where have I heard this before and someone disagreed...HmmmmmYou are 100% correct Belvin20...especially in the used market, everyone wants to most upgraded car, cause your paying only a fraction of what it cost originally, so it would be silly not to get the most car you can...
Ill also add that a 2LT gets you $750 more in resale value today and a 3LT gets you $2500 more in resale value today...a 1LT gets you zero value today...
My suggestion - get the EXACT car you want...dont settle cause you will always be saying "I wish I could have or should have..." If you want a 2LT, get one...dont settle.

I like the HUD and having it there in my view always. I do like the sound system.
Heated seats are a joke. My 13 year old Cayenne gets the seats so hot that you'll cook in the seat after 10 minutes, the vette just gets me lukewarm after 30. I havent had the car long enough to tell you about ventilated usage.

To the OP -- if you REALLY want the car you are looking at, go for it. The 2LT stuff is nice, but the GS you are looking at should not depreciate any differently at this point than a 2LT car would. And, Lord knows, Black Rose is stunning...

Personally, when I'm looking for a Corvette to purchase (newer or classic), it's all about my finding my preferred model, OVERALL CONDITION, color combo then mileage. What I call major features (NPP exhaust, teak steering, knock-off wheels for mid-years etc) are important to me however I will take or leave the rest such as the 2LT items.
To answer the OP's initial question of how important are the 2LT features? It totally depends on the individual purchasing the C7. It's as simple as that and is ridiculous going back and forward in these threads as to which is better.
