I've never been pulled over in any of my corvettes and as a law enforcement officer for 30 years (now retired) I never stopped a corvette or any other car that did not need stopping. Too many stupid people out there doing stupid stuff to even bother stopping someone for no reason.
Who knows why or if what one was driving contributed? Behavior in a Vette may be a better query.
That said, I have been watched very carefully and even once followed through a small town in my C5, but no one of authority seems to notice a black C7.
I've been buying and driving Corvettes since 1972, and I have never been pulled over for any reason while driving one. In my other cars & trucks, twice in 47 years. One speeding ticket when I was a teenager, and I deserved it. The other time they were looking for someone driving a truck like mine. Questioned me and let me go on my way. I do plenty of track days with my cars, no reason to drive like an idiot on public roads.
Was driving my red C7 Z06 under the speed limit, Sunday morning, no traffic. Spotted a parked cruiser in front of an adjacent strip mall. Went by, cop didn’t pull onto the road. I sensed what would happen next. Travelled a short distance and then saw a different cruiser on the road behind me, way back. Obviously the first one thought he’d fool me by not following and that by radioing another one they would make a catch. I let him follow and then I pulled into an empty restaurant lot as it was closed. Cruiser had no choice but to blow by and forget the charade.
Good to have a well developed second sense about things. Happened in a touristy Connecticut shore town.

I've owned several Corvettes and have never been pulled over in one. Oddly, I've been pulled over in SUV's plenty of times, but not the vettes or Camaro's.
Don't get me wrong, I most certainly SHOULD HAVE haha
Only an amateur makes a habit out of speeding in a sports car. Cops don't miss sports cars.
A Corvette is possibly the worst car there is to speed in. A single super fast bonsai run is one thing, but to habitually speed in a Corvette is just plain stupid.
Depending on the situation, people serious about speeding use cars that are very plain and common looking, like an Impala.
Twice in 40 years . . . both times in our SUV. Never in one of our sports cars. Luckily they were written up for 10 MPH over, which does not affect license here in MN. One time I was going to get a warning until he saw my radar detector and changed it to a ticket.
Bought my 2016 in January 2018. So far not pulled over yet. Try to stay within 5-7 over the posted limit. Did drive the first few months without the front plate. Installed it just to keep "them" for having a reason to stop me.
I've been pulled a few times in mine.
Once because "we have reports of a black car street racing" and they ran my info, gave me a lecture and let me go.
Again for "You have a dealer tag on your car" well officer I have a dealership "But you're in highschool" no I'm 26...
My favorite was for "improper start" when I turned my car off at a train stopped on the tracks that I waited 10 minutes for it to start moving again. $300ish dollar ticket and once again he said I could just pay it online since my tag says I'm in a different town. Showed up to court, non-guilty, and explained I have dashcam footage. TIcket dropped instantly.
Most recently "Your car is too low to the ground" it's stock ride height officer, what about that squatted truck running underlighting? "He's not causing no trouble"
But I still love the car and do respect police officers.
One day while washing mine on the street, an officer stopped on a golf cart and talked to me about mine and his C5 Corvette. Probably talked to him for 30 minutes since he was on trafficking duty for the baseball game up the street. I offered to take him for a ride next time I saw him as long as he doesn't take me in his cruiser!
Never in any of my 5 Corvettes. Last ticket was in 1984 in my Z28 Camaro. Had a CB and radar detector on board but was just not paying attention. I don't speed anymore so don't plan on any more tickets ever.
I got all of that nonsense out of my system when I was in my twenties. I'm really careful about how I drive my Corvette. That's not to say that I don't get on it.....
