The info on Vinyl stripes = Reversible and the suggested MetroRestyling.com had been very useful. Thanks guys.
If the car was Maroon with the Orange Stripe then it would be a Virginia Tech car. The Blue with the Orange Stripe makes it a UVA car. GO HOKIES!!

glad i could pass on my discovery, you may see some with a pattern in the orange, which will greatly modernize your ride... solid colors are ok but to go bold go for the unusual patterns..

You probably checked this out, but if not, look at all the orange hues...and keep scrolling to see some incredible patterns.....

I don’t really care about resale. I paid cash for it, and whatever I trade it for will just be a slight discount on a C8 in a couple years after they get all the bugs worked out and they offer it in a manual transmission.
Well there’s your answer, get the orange strips and don’t look back!

Before and after adding the stripes. They’re Carbon Flash, so they match the mirrors and spoiler, and my soon to be splitter and side skirts. I really looked at orange(huge Denver Broncos fan), but decided against it as I didn’t want the car to be over the top loud. Silver is very bold, and looks great on the blue also.

Also, find the Laguna Blue Official Thread. There’s a guy who had his done with full length orange stripes. I know it’s not exactly the same color, but it would give you a pretty good idea in real world vs online renderings.

For my white Z convertible, red stripes were a natural accent so we added them post purchase by our paint film guy here in S Florida. SO much nicer look with the stripes (sorry, disagree with those that don't like them, but hey, to each their own, right?)...just another humble opinion:

Love mine. I bought them a Vette Stripe and went with the Silver. Was a pain to install but turned out great. I then had the entire car covered with Expel Ultimate and Ceramic Pro.

I don't think the orange would go very well with the blue. Black would look nice but wouldn't have the wow factor. I'd go for a hood stinger only if it was my car. Beautiful Vette as it sits!

I kinda like the orange stripe on the blue. If it was me, I'd try for a deep, bright orange though.

Any members that have installed VINYL STRIPES....do you
have experience with then applying a CERAMIC COATING
over the Stripes ONLY.....NOT THE PAINT, as I want to be able
to correct paint issues as they arise ???

Which Coating Mfg, Name Type did you use

Examples of what I'm considering applying to my INFERNO ORANGE 12' GS
Cant decide what METALLIC Blk to use or any other Color ?????

I know that many aren’t in favor, but I really think I will proceed with the stripes. I’m most likely going with aftermarket, and color is still up in the air. I really believe that the stripes looks more “dressed-up” compared to stock and stripe-less

I really think that this:
(This is the one I test-drove and almost bought)

Looks better than this:
(JMHO of course)

To be continued..........
