I’m thinking of adding these stripes. Of course my family and friends think I should do black stripes and I know that is much “safer”, but I want something a little more bold. Thoughts? Also, I would probably research the idea of having my brake calipers painted orange or replacement with ceramic coated orange calipers. Any advice/input appreciated.
Love mine. I bought them a Vette Stripe and went with the Silver. Was a pain to install but turned out great. I then had the entire car covered with Expel Ultimate and Ceramic Pro.
Personally, we like the full length stripes on the C8, especially on some colors. We grant stripes are not for everybody, but we like the look you are contemplating.

Would not be my first choice in a stripe color (I would prefer white) and would go with red calipers, but your choice of orange would certainly be unique and would be a bold statement for the car. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
Silver or white look good, maybe a shadow grey instead of black? Visit a local shop that does stripes. They should have a wide selection to choose from.
I have the GM silver.
Stripes/no stripes is like the black/chrome wheels issue, lots of folks are gonna have strong opinions. It's your car so do what you want but onrange stripes on a blue car is probably going to hurt you at trade-in time.
I agree it's your car and do what makes you happy. But you are asking for opinions. I wouldn't do orange. Maybe take a few weeks, enjoy the car, and reflect on what you want to do then.

Silver, many unique shades available, maybe go a charcoal or consider a flat gloss. The important thing is that it is a reversible mod. And, at some point down the road you most likely will get tired of it, or will want to go a different route. Case in point, I have made fender hash stripes for all my Corvettes which I ran for a while then one day decided to get rid of them. If you do go through with it study all the amazing new vinyl colors .... You can order samples and experiment right on your paint. MetroRestyling.com is the best....
