I asked the question about PSS in a non run flat and I don't believe they make them...
They do make them...at least they're available from the America's Tire website. Not sure how distributed that particular shop is throughout "America" but they're all over SoCal.

America's tire is ironically only in California, and it's the same thing as Discount Tire elsewhere.
I do not believe they make non-run flat version of the Super Sport in sizes required for the C7 widebody.

I verified you are correct. For some reason, I thought "ZR" meant run-flats, and just R were non. But it's "ZP" that indicates run flats. I'm bummed. So what are choices in non-run flats? The guy told me even the Michelin A/S 3's come in non-RF fronts, but not rears. Does that combination really work?
I've not seen anyone discussing other tire brands besides these two...but what about Toyo, Nitto, Falken, Firestone....etc. ?

Continental makes a set of non-run flat that will go all the way around. Another poster said they run narrow and have a different fit. I've never seen them before but I'm sure someone her has a picture of them. I've seen a few posters say they have them and I haven't heard a complaint yet.

Thanks. Yes, a few really like them. They are the ExtremeContact Sports, and I'm considering them. Drive quiet and smooth, with very good street performance, apparently. I'd like to hear more opinions. The fit is said to look narrower even though they're still 285's/335's. Maybe they use a different ruler!
A Car and Driver review said this: "the Sport was subjectively neck and neck with the Michelin Pilot Sport in feel and performance during the dry portions, it was demonstrably better than the Michelin and the other two tires (Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 and Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position) in wet handling and braking" but my concern is that they only tested them with a BMW M3, M335, and a Subaru WRX. An objective tire dealer told me they're stock tires on some luxury sport vehicles (e.g., Mercedes Benz AMG sport coupes). Still, a Corvette is an extreme sports car even though I don't personally track the car.
Some reviews are available in a Google search. This is one: https://motoiq.com/tested-continenta...contact-sport/
