I had the same problem with my non NPP. I could not continue with the Cadillac sound on a Vette. After much research I chose the AWE afm valve back system. Corsa does make a similar system at a higher price. Yes it is quite loud and obnoxious. However, it has the 180 degree drone elimination and does work. The tire noise is louder. I found that using manual to hold a higher gear with lower revs keeps the sound down when needed. Actually it is like driving a new car, hearing the shifts, using manual deceleration to produce burbles - lots of fun! Also will not void warranty or cause emission test failure. look up CSP for system, prompt shipping no charge. Costs me $330 for install at the best Corvette shop in area.
