Default Coupe Windrestrictor

Anybody have the Windrestrictor product in their coupe. I'm interested in the glass one manufactured by Windrestrictor of Dallas Texas. Just wondering if they really reduce the wind buffeting or are they just pretty lights and logos?

My wind restrictor cut down about 80% of wind tunnel in my C5. Installed for a good price during Funfest.

Thanks for the reply. My guess is that if it works in your C5 it will probably work in my C7. Think I'll go ahead and order one.

I’m interested too. Would like to hear from more than just one person, though.

A guy next to me at a car show had one. He really liked it. Personally, I don't like how it looks. But he said it makes a difference.

Interesting. I thought the application of the wind restrictor was for the roadster (vert, convertible) … but maybe the coupe has some wind buffering with the targa off and the windows down.

There is a youtube video of the differences of wind problems with or without the wind restrictor or it might be on there site.

The coupes are brutal with the targa off. Looks good parked at a show with the roof off, and that's about it.

I was wrong. See post #30.

I disagree completely. It's fine up to nearly highway speeds.

I shouldn't have said anything. My C6 and C4 were brutal, and I just assumed the C7 is the same. I haven't taken the roof off the C7 yet.

I agree that the C5 wind buffeting was worse than my C7. It is not something that gives me a lot of concern.

I’m not looking for a wind tunnel but I take the targa off as much as possible exactly because I want to feel the wind in the hair that I no longer have 😳

When having graphics on this product, does it interfere with the view from the rear view mirror?

Hmmmm, I have been interested in a wind restrictor for my C7 coupe. I had one that mounted on the top of my windshield for my C5 and it worked great. So far I have not been able to locate one like it for my C7. Anyone know of one besides the one that goes behind the seats???

After 3 cross country trips it didn't bother me, can see fine. Mine also lights up when you turn on the lights but you also can turn it off with a small fob that came with it.
