Save the tape. I tried that too before I gave up on my first set and just went with Oracles.
I'm leaning toward that answer too. The Oracles do stick out a hair but they are trouble free. I have them and the "bulge" is only noticable to the very very picky. For the good way they look, I can handle the bulge without a problem.
I have a 2018 Z06 and have the issue of the right front TPMS failing after a 15 minute drive on the the freeway with the lights on. Turn the lights off and the TPMS resets itself in a minute or two.
I tried two sets of markers changing them one at a time and continually experienced the issue.
I like the looks and function of the markers (both lights on and off) that I decided to keep them in any event. But I would still love a fix.
ahh crap! That is not good news. I haven't driven mine at freeway speeds with the markers on yet. I would have guessed the manufacturers would have figured this one out by now, but apparently not. Bummer.
I have a 2019 Z06 and my front right shows on the TPMS It seems to only happen when I have just the side markers on. When I have the head lights on with the side markers it didn’t go off It would usually go on around 10-15 miles and I went about 80 miles no problems. Do others have the problem with the head lights on with the side markers? Or is it only when you run them only?
When you say the lights on, do you mean just the side markers on or the headlights too?
Either just the markers on or with the headlights also.

Yes, and he has been very responsive. He indicates he has seen the issue three times. He sent me replacement markers to try. No change. He will readily take them back if you have a problem and pays shipping.
I suspect there is something different in the few cars which exhibit a problem.
So I got mine from JW too during his first special pricing event the other month. I have a 2019 and plan on installing them on the 12th when I have other stuff done.
this tape you mention, is it worth taping the backs of them all up as I install them?

Someone posted that it worked on their car and that's why I bought it. Then I ended up getting some kind of bug and stayed sick for 12 weeks. Hopefully I'll feel well enough to try it in the next week or so.

The only symptom I didn't have was the high fever. It would be 99-100 every day. They tested me 3 times and it was negative 3 times. Put me on a heavy dose of prednisone 2 weeks ago and I'm doing better. O2 sats are back up in the mid to upper 90's. I've lost 25 lbs but I've been gradually improving for the last 10 days. Still didn't feel good enough to go to VIR tomorrow but I probably will in a couple of weeks. I was afraid to get around anybody up until this week. Still keeping my distance but don't think I'm contagious. What ever it was affected my 14 y/o son for 3 days. My wife was sick for almost a month. Whatever it was I damn sure don't want to get anything worse!

Real glad you are doing better now! Sounds like these side markers are a lot lower on the priority list after hearing that.
I purchased mine from RPI. The fit is spot on perfect. The TPMS problem happens from time to time - mostly on the highway and for whatever reason, when it has been drizzling...although it did happen once in sunlight. Maybe in the 8 months I;ve had them, its happened 3 times and it goes away in about 30 minutes of driving. Again, it's always happened on the right front and at highway speeds.
The LEDs draw less power yet product more light than the OEM bulbs. No code issues.
I just received mine from SouthernCarParts a few days ago and plan to install them on Tuesday. Great to hear they do in fact fit flush. I didn’t go with Oracle brand because I read too many reviews that said they stick out, not flush with the fender.
I got $40 off using their forum member code.

I sure hope this was an isolated problem from an earlier verision of the side markers because I just received my set of LED side markers from SouthernCarParts and plan to install them tomorrow!
Cliff notes? SCP side markers caused TPMS signal to drop (mostly on right front) after 10-15 minutes of driving when the lights were on. Some kind of RF interference with those particular Chinese made lights. Switched to Oracles, and while even brighter, yes they don't sit entirely flush. But zero problems with TPMS.

I put these on the car before I ever drove it so I had the problem in the first 50 miles.

I believe you have a 2019. I only point that out because I read a number of posts from owners with 2015-2018 model years who installed SCP side marker and driven at night with headlights on and never had this problem.

I am not sure if I covered that in my big thread, but I further narrowed it down by driving with only my parking lots on, which means side markers on, and the problem persisted. It wasn’t till I swapped out the front side markers back to stock and the problem was gone that I was totally sold on it. Because it’s such an unbelievable thing to think that lights caused RF interference. It’s only because I’ve seen that cause-effect happen once already did I even think to pursue that route.
Yes I have a 2019. I believe that I read that the TPMS system got changed a bit specifically for 2019, along with some other electrical system changes, but I can’t be sure. That said, I did get some PMs from earlier year owners with the same issue.

Yeah I've put a lot of things on the back burner for the last few months. I'm up and about now though and things are looking better. Hope to be back to normal in a few weeks although it might take longer.
I tried to study the Oracle, RPI, and group buy lights. You know retailers don't want head-to-head comparisons. The only real way to compare them is to buy them all and return the ones you don't use. I found a big difference in the warranties offered by each company and went with Oracle. I also talked to a guy at Oracle and he was either a genius at sales gimmickry or he really knew his stuff. You eventually have to trust somebody so I went with Oracle.

Good luck with your heath issues, take care of yourselves!

I agree, JW Motorsports is AWESOME to deal with...
I just bought some Faraday fabric https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0855KQ36Z and will see if it works... I have a 2014 and the lights are fine except in 1 spot on my drive in to work every morning and it only happens in the morning... That same exact spot going home there is never an issue... The TPMS has gone out about 3 times so far...
I am just not convinced it is the lights alone, I think they may contribute to the issue and other things also add to it....
I suspect that the Faraday cloth might help a little but to be truly effective it will need to totally encase the markers which would not look good.
If the interference might be coming into the system on the power leads, a small capacitor of the correct value between the wires to the lamp might bleed any RF being carried on the 12V to ground. I am not in position right now to get a possible value for the cap but will check back later. Does anyone know the frequency that TPMS operates at? That will help determine capacitor size.
