IMO you took a big step backwards with the M2 as far as style, power, reliability as it ages, and panache (yes panache- as a 2 series BMW is basically an entry level model albeit with a larger engine-while a vette is a vette and has a separate niche).

Congrats oncoming to your senses (LOL) as your GS is gorgeous. Enjoy!
Refreshing to see someone on a forum actually bite their tongue and be respectful.

OP, beautiful Grand Sport!!! Congrats!!!

As a "Corvette guy" this is a little hard for me to say, but having acquired an Audi S5 Cabriolet four months ago, I can say that it has risen to be my favorite car to savor...and my C7 has lost some if its hold on me. It sits under a cover in the driveway while I savor the S5...Yes, it is not as fast as the Corvette (almost!) but the German build quality, far better fit and finish, and brilliant engineering is SO impressive. It is a wonderful car - and stickers for (slightly) less than my 2LT....

I had a S4 which has supercharger and it was a great car too. However they are not sports car and drive feel is lot different than a vette or any 2 seater sports car

Prior to the vette was looking at a Pcar, 6 cylinder GTS 4.0, did not want to buy a 100K + car now and its in my wish list down the line. The vette is real value for money.
