In Manual Mode (Paddle) this is absolutely no stutter. I don't mind changing the fluid again myself but I'll see what this device does either way.

as long as there is no stutter while using paddle shifters the range device will solve the problem. The car will not go into 4 cylinders while using the paddle shifters. The range device keeps the car from going into 4 cylinder mode.

Default Range Unit Update

I received and installed the Range Technology AFM disabler. So far, great results and not a single stutter. I can’t detect any reduction in fuel mileage either. I’m very pleased and thanks to all who provided helpful comments.

this may sound like a dum question, but can you still use the paddle shifter while still having the range device pugged in, or does
it need to be removed before diving with the paddles.
thanks

Paddles are fine. The Range unit does not care.

Default Paddle shifters work perfectly.

the only change is that the car won’t enter v4 modes.
