Soler Throttle controller issue

Soler Throttle controller issue
I followed the installation instructions to a tee. It threw a CEL and reduced power.
Disconnected the battery for 30 minutes and it still threw a CEL and reduced power.
Connected everything back to stock, disconnected the Soler and connected stock connector back to throttle, disconnected battery for 30 minutes and all is well.
Has that happened to anyone? Defective Soler ?

Update:
Replacement came in yesterday. I installed it this morning and it worked like a charm. No issues with this one. Great service and quick response from Mike.
Set it to SP6 and it seems that's the setting me and the car are happy with. I know it does not add HP to the car but it sure feels like it.

Mike probably can help but as previous post.. I have never heard of that code with a Soler

+1. I’ve got ~0 mechanical experience or aptitude and had a series of dumb questions on installing the TB/TC, Mike happily and helpfully talked me through them and I’ve been enjoying improved throttle response and smoother starts ever since. Great company!

He's a great guy! Mine works great and I was really disappointed that it wasn't as snappy as my brothers C6, and now it is.. Love it! There isn't a better mod, not even my supercharger..

I had the TC intermittently go into limp mode and throw a P2138 throttle position sensor code. I disconnected the TC and contacted Mike. He had a replacement unit delivered with a return shipping sticker in a couple of days. The Replacement works as advertised...
IIRC he said the TC didn't recognize the lower end throttle position and went into limp mode.
As posted, Mike's the best when it comes to customer service.

He emailed me a RMA tag right away, I shipped it back within the hour and a new one is on the way.
Looking forward to having a good one installed.

How are you getting rid of the code? Does it clear on it's own?

If it's an old code. disconnecting the battery for that long will clear it. If it's a current code, it'll come back as soon as you start the car.
My handheld scanner was not clearing the code BTW. So had to go with the battery disconnect.

Has anyone had their car tuned with this installed. I had mine tuned this past weekend and during the tuning process the car went into reduced power mode and the screen on the soler went blank. I removed it and the car ran fine and we were able to finish the tune. Can they not be used if you change throttle sensitivity in the tune?
