Car color choices truly come down to individual preference. Buy what you enjoy, and let the other guy enjoy his choices.
Or, you find a C7 that checks all your boxes and more, at a great price, except for the color! That is what happened to me. I decided I could live with white and I am glad I did.
I just cannot believe all the hate for a person's choice of car color. I really do not care what color a person's car is. if they like it, fine by me.
oh and just so you know, my Velocity yellow 2015 coupe has an Adrenaline red interior.
I like the yellow cars. And, having a red interior, myself, I like that, as well. If this particular car had a black roof, instead, the colors would have worked and this thread would never have existed. But, there are always odd colors on any car.
Grand Sport convertible - bright yellow, over red with a red top. Even my wife commented on it. Such a beautiful car, such a horrible color combination...
A car with a yellow exterior and red interior is nothing new. Go back to the 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's Classic like Duesenberg, Packard, Cord, Mercedes, Bugatti, Delahaye, Ferrari, Porsche, Cadillac, Buick and on and on. Did have this combination.
So to criticize an individual on his or her choices of color is amount to an opinion everyone has one just like everyone has a (you know what). So if you do not like the color combination just say I do not like it. Comments like "Yick" or any other negative statement do not help any discussion moving forward.

I think we've already established that the red interior with yellow exterior isn't that much of an issue, it's that horrid red top that pushes it into the realm of unsightly color combinations. Nothing wrong with expressing one's opinion on a car. I'm sure there are people that don't like the choices I've made with my car, I haven't met them yet but I'm sure they're out there, and when they do express their displeasure I'm fine with that. It's my car, but they are certainly entitled to their opinion about it and they can share that with whomever they chose.

It's one thing to say your opinion you dislike it. It is another to say "Yick" or "Ronald McDonald" has a negative connotation about an individual choices.

I feel like that's splitting hairs....any words you use to express a dislike are going to have a "negative connotation." Nothing wrong with calling and ugly car ugly. Contrary to popular belief a corvette isn't beautiful simply because it's a corvette.
My other car is something that gets disparaged and insulted, openly, all of the time. But, what matters is that I like it. There are people that hate black cars with black rims and blacked out trim. But, there are color combinations/choices that tend to have universal acceptance as "ugly".
