While I don't like to beat on another owner for their C7 choice (mine is Laguna Blue over Kalahari) I recently moved to Arizona and in the club parking lot sat a Grand Sport convertible - bright yellow, over red with a red top. Even my wife commented on it. Such a beautiful car, such a horrible color combination...

Ya, that sounds like a 'D30' RPO to me - non recommended color / trim / top combination override.

That would be an interesting thread - a list of, and photos of, D30 RPO color combos that are "less than desireable" and/or "hard to sell."

Yellow/red top would be on the top (bottom?) ten list.

Yellow and Spice and Everything Nice. That's what beautiful Corvettes are made of.

I've seen red tops on white, black, gray, etc. It doesn't appeal to me personally, but at least I can get that others see it as beautiful and distinctive. This one...the Ronald McDonald post was right on...

This odd color combination reminds me of a car with a replaced fender of a different color, that hasn't been paint matched yet.

Some of you folks are cruel, but funny as hell. But I peed my pants when I saw Ole Ronald. There are a couple of color combinations people have here which I find equally distasteful. I will not be specific so as to avoid the anticipated attacks.

Car color choices truly come down to individual preference. Buy what you enjoy, and let the other guy enjoy his choices.
