Default Competition steering wheel

Curious if anyone ordered this steering wheel from Summit. Same as the one offered by GM parts?

looks to have the alcantara and the carbon insert?

Haven't ordered one, but it is a good looking wheel and a pretty decent price.

Alcantara is very cool as a covering EXCEPT for surfaces where hands are involved. I know, grip and such but it's not too long before it suffers from the human hand and gets to the point of greasy and worn looking....I much prefer leather on the wheel and shift **** (of course you have a manual.......)

I bought that exact steering wheel off Ebay. It was like $299. It appeared to have come from a GM dealer. Mine doesn't have the red shifter paddles. Not only does it look really good on the car, but how it feels when you touch it. Much better than leather. You will love it. Easy to install also.

What is the difference between the one for a manual vs automatic? Is it just the paddles say rev match not + and -.
can this be used in a A8?

Just the markings are different. There should be a different GM part number with the correct markings for the manual vs. the A8. Not sure if Summit carries that one though.

It didn't see it on their site. I have the paddles from my current wheel couldn't I just swap the paddles and it would work or is the wheel configuration different?

Yes, they are easy to swap. I think they have those torx "security" screws. So you need a set of small torx drivers that has that little hole in the middle. If you have that, it is very easy. I think the screwdriver set I have are used to fix small electronics, cell phones and such and they had bits that worked perfectly with the hole in the center.

I have this one for sale...does not include paddle shifters. Came off of my 2019 Grand Sport....it was a special order package and is alcantara with carbon fiber insert as shown in your pic....I am guessing same/exact wheel? I would take 250.00...you pay for shipping.

I believe it is: 84414343? Reading from sticker on wheel. This one only has 5000 miles.....can't tell that it is not brand new......just in case. I took off to put on a new carbon fiber wheel with LED lights
