I think my best bet is to trade for a M7. The car only has 6k miles now. Thanks for the info.
Thats what I did with my old A8. I had the flush done twice and kept having issues. Found a deal on a M7 car, traded and haven't had a single issue since. Not to mention the manual is much more fun to drive.
Do a little research. The M7 has it's issues, too... The issues with the M7 aren't resolved quite as easily.

I agree with your overall premise, that no car is perfect. Like several others here, however, I haven't heard about any pattern of M7 problems.

Based on the atchd, I doubt whatever "problems" exist are torque tube related. GM's bulletin indicates that issue is limited to "automatic transmission" C7...
I wish I had read all the posts I could on this forum before I bought my a8 c7. I am finally use to all the gadgets on the c7 but I have had so many problems with the drivetrain that I have don't have any faith in the car. An older lady owned the car and it must have went into v4 a lot. What I thought was transmission shudder, after the transmission fluid change turned out to be a bad torque tube. This was at 5400 miles. I think my best bet is to trade for a M7. The car only has 6k miles now. Thanks for the info.
I have a 2019 C7 with the a8 and a 2019 with the manual. The auto performs perfectly and is great to drive especially when I am in town or feeling a little lazy. As well it is faster and the remote start is nice to have. I am bringing it in tomorrow for the transmission flush just to be sure but there have been no issues yet. I did install a range device when I bought the car new.
