On the plus side of living up here, we really have some nice backroads to explore all summer--it's really pretty. I'm a life-long MN resident. I did move from Northern MN to Central--that in itself was quite an improvement weather-wise

I hate Winter, if I was American, post retirement I would spend my Winters in Arizona and the rest in Virginia.

I hated winter in NW Ohio for 29 years, until I moved to Phoenix AZ 50 years ago. Now I go up to the Flagstaff area for an afternoon every 5 years, just to remind myself what Winter with snow is/was like. I get chills just thinking about it. Brrrr

You appreciate your car more when you bring it out in the spring

Me Too! I just hate winter???
except for last years 1 week freeze we get once a decade our temps are going to be in the 50's and 60's during the day
We get wet weather but we've found that Corvettes do not melt. We have summers in the 90's and we are lucky that when that happens the humidity is capped at 100%. So we really have a chance to test AC?
Spring and Fall are really bad- Temps in the 70's and 80's during the day? it really is inconvenient. and makes it hard to justify not driving?

Sorry for making fun, but I've lived in cold places before and it really is no fun in the winter and so living in south texas really is nice most of the time.

Kinda funny none of the people who live in a warm climate year round has responded. They are being very very quiet.

Y'all are welcome to join our cruises in Northern California. It's actually winter-like at below 50 degrees today. Most owners just don't care about politics. It's all about the cars (year round, when it's dry)!

25 degrees in the afternoon. 50 and I'll be cruising in my underwear or less.

I hate putting my Corvette away for Winter but I have other things to pass the time

Then come Spring the sleds go away and the C8 comes out.

It will be nice to store the C7 so I don't need to play "musical cars" with 1 car out of the way

I guess I don't put too much money into the vette - and I drive anytime there's no visible moisture on the roads. ALL YEAR LONG ! Not much during the Pennsylvania winters, though I'll admit. It's a car, guys, I really believe its a fine piece of engineering and art - but it still needs to be used. Just picked up a 2016 Roadster Z51 3LT, sold an 06' Z51, and have absolutely fallen for this "new" vette. Jacket on, hat on, 37 degrees with the top down - now THAT was cold (or stupid). We should gave gone to a ragtop sooner. It's a hoot ! But alas, IT'S STILL COLD OUT !!! Vette club meeting is tonight, so I'll probably drive the vette - 34 deg dropping to 23 tonight. Boy do I miss College Station.............

what do you need explained?

This is what we do during the Winter. I don’t even think about my Corvette in Winter just like I don’t give my snowmobiles a thought in Summer.

I leave mine uncovered so I can look at it all winter. A little dust does not hurt it and you can clean up the dust with some detail spray and a microfiber cloth. In the Spring you will have a new Corvette to drive! Here is how mine will look all winter except I have not put the battery tenders on yet. Will do this weekend.

Nope, I love the winter. Sure, the Vette stays in a heated garage under a cover, but each spring I feel like I get a new car. Besides there are plenty of great things to do in the winter - variety is the spice of life. No offense to the warm year round areas but I'd much rather have a good solid four seasons. We are likely to move to Colorado or Vermont in a few years for retirement.
