I installed a WeaponX polished CF diffuser on mine. It’s held up well over several years and 30k miles. Thread about install, with pics, is here.

The diffuser looks great on all those vehicles shown in the linked thread. I just might have to look into that product.

Mine’s been on almost eight years and 30k miles and still looks new.

Well I ordered one from weapon X December 4th last year. I just took a refund. Nearly 5 months and no diffuser and no delivery date either. That's just ridiculous. Hence the reason I am looking at my options. I like the Ivan Tampi ones. I wonder if the knock offs fit as well as his do.

I have wanted a CF diffuser for years as I was slowly converting the car over to the CF look. Just beware of anything made in China. You will find many on Fleabay. So I figured I would buy one from a vendor in the US only. Problem is, they were unavailable unless you were willing to pay in advance and waiting months for them to be made up due to the China Virus. Unless you were lucky enough to find a vendor that happened to have some inventory in stock.

I found a US vendor that had a CF one and I ordered it last year. They are NOT cheap. It arrived and it was a POS. The tabs were not cut out, the necessary holes were not drilled, and the slots for the tabs for the bumper and fenders were not cut either! They required the bumper to be removed as the CF are not flexible at all to be installed with the bumper on the car. Plus as an added bonus there were issues with the finish of it which were very noticeable. I'm going to guess it was really made in China even though they said it was not.

Fortunately for me, the vendor was willing to take it back for a refund, but it cost me return shipping. But they provided me a shipping label at my expense as shipping these huge, but light items are hundreds of $ unless you have a UPS business account. I was lucky I think.

So I just purchased another unit from a forum member and am going to give another CF diffuser a try. I cannot report back if it is good or not as I have not installed it yet. But it has all the holes drilled, slots cut and tabs cut. So I am much more optimistic that it will fit properly.

I bought a difflow.com diffuser. all aluminum. I had the company make the diamond shape cutouts to
the center of the product, as shown in my pic., because living in Texas and running in stop and
go traffic in over 100 degree summers, I wanted to dissipate the heat from the exhaust better.
They did not charge me anything for the request. Uses all OEM screws , It also had one additional
bracket easily installed to support the center.
Huh... just noticed they have a picture of my car on their product website...

I have the Anderson Composites CF rear diffuser. https://andersoncomposites.com/colle...7-stingray-z06. I had to do some minor filing of some of the holes and slots to enlarge them to fit, but otherwise the fit and finish was excellent.

That's a good looking piece. How is the clear coat holding up?

Thanks. I have no regrets with it. It still looks as good as new after 1 yr & 9 months.

Well after weapon X was unable to deliver after waiting 5 months I decided on getting the ivan tampi diffuser. The APR v2 ran a close second. They told me about a month wait so we shall see. Pray for me

Is this cosmetic, or do they actually have a function?
